System Requirements and Installation
Tip: SSIS PowerPack is a collection of powerful SSIS components for integrating virtually any
data source — REST, JSON, XML, CSV, API, OData, Amazon S3, Azure, Google, and more.
Design Prerequisites
To design SSIS packages, install Visual Studio with the
SQL Server Integration Services Projects (SSIS Designer) extension.

Visual Studio 2022 / Visual Studio 2026 – Install
SQL Server Integration Services Projects 2022+ (Microsoft).
Target server versions supported: SQL Server 2016–2025 (including SSIS
2025).

Visual Studio 2019 – Install
SQL Server Integration Services Projects (VS2019 extension).
Target server versions supported: SQL Server 2012–2022.

Legacy Note (older tooling): Older SSDT / SSDT-BI installers exist mainly for backward
compatibility with older Visual Studio setups.

Azure Data Factory – SSIS Integration Runtime

Use Visual Studio 2026, 2022, 2019, or 2017 with the SSIS Projects extension to design and deploy SSIS packages to
Azure Data Factory SSIS Integration Runtime (ADF SSIS-IR).
Important: Set TargetServerVersion = SQL Server 2017 in your SSIS project for compatibility with ADF SSIS-IR.

Installation Steps

Download the SSIS PowerPack Installer:
https://zappysys.com/downloads/ssis-powerpack
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Restart Visual Studio after installation (if open).

Launch Visual Studio and create a new SSIS project to start using SSIS PowerPack.
Important: If you purchased the software, download the installation file from the
Customer Download Area.
You
cannot activate a purchased license key with the public trial build.
Uninstallation
- Go to Add or Remove Programs in Windows and search for ZappySys SSIS PowerPack.
- Select it and click Uninstall.
- If you installed separate builds for different SQL/VS versions, uninstall each version as needed.

If new components do not appear, close all Visual Studio windows and restart Visual Studio using Run
as Administrator.
