Authentication AWS or IAM Identity Center profile
Description
No description available [API reference]
Instructions
Use a named AWS profile, including an IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO) profile, instead of storing an access key in the DSN.
- Create the named profile in the shared AWS config for the same Windows account that runs the ZappySys JDBC Bridge.
- For IAM Identity Center, configure the profile with
aws configure sso, then sign in withaws sso login --profile athena-idc. - Enter that exact profile name, Region, and Workgroup. Enter Output location only when the workgroup does not enforce one.
- Finish the wizard. Then click Test Connection on the DSN Main UI.
- For scheduled jobs, make sure the profile session remains valid or use the Default AWS credential chain with a workload role.
