Instructions

HSQLDB server JDBC from Power BI, SQL Server Linked Server via ZappySys Data Gateway, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, and other ODBC tools.

  1. Start an HSQL server (default port 9001) or use an existing one.
  2. Replace host, port, and catalog. Fill user and password from that server.
  3. Finish the wizard. Then click Test Connection on the DSN Main UI (the wizard does not run Test Connection).
  4. Done. You can query from C#, Python, PowerShell, and ODBC apps.

JDBC host name or IP (e.g. MyHostName).
