Instructions

Apache Drill (ZooKeeper) JDBC from Power BI, SQL Server Linked Server via ZappySys Data Gateway, Crystal Reports, SSRS, Azure Data Factory, and other ODBC tools.

  1. Get the ZooKeeper quorum and Drill cluster path from your ops team (often /drill/drillbits1).
  2. Replace host and path in the JDBC URL. User/password only if Drill auth is on.
  3. Finish the wizard. Then click Test Connection on the DSN Main UI (the wizard does not run Test Connection).
  4. Done. You can query from C#, Python, PowerShell, and ODBC apps.

JDBC host name or IP (e.g. MyHostName).
