Using the ZappySys ODBC Driver for REST APIs, you can query Bluebeam Studio API data with SQL and load it into Power BI without writing custom connector code. This tutorial shows how to create a Bluebeam ODBC DSN, configure OAuth2 authentication, preview data, connect Power BI, and run practical SQL queries.<\/p>\n

    Get Bluebeam API credentials<\/h3>\n

    1. Sign in to the Bluebeam Developer Portal<\/a> with your BBID credentials. Note that a Studio Prime subscription is required to use an integration built on the Studio API.<\/li>\n
    2. Register a new App and note the region it is registered under (US, DE, AU, UK, or SE), since this determines the base URL you will use later.\n
    3. Open the App details page and generate your Client ID<\/strong> and Client Secret<\/strong> \u2014 store both values securely.\n

      Create a new ODBC DSN using ZappySys JSON Driver<\/h3>\n

      1. Search for ODBC<\/strong> in the Windows Start menu and open ODBC Data Source Administrator<\/strong>.

      2. In User DSN<\/strong> or System DSN<\/strong>, click Add<\/strong>.<\/li>\n

        1. Enter a Bluebeam Studio endpoint URL using your region’s base URL, in this format:

        2. In Connection Type<\/strong>, select OAUTH <\/strong>and click Configure<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        3. Set Credential Type<\/strong> to OAuth2 Authorization Code Grant (Custom)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        4. Enter your Client ID<\/strong> and Client Secret<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
        5. Set the Authorization URL<\/strong> to https:\/\/api.bluebeam.com\/oauth2\/authorize<\/span> and the Access Token URL<\/strong> to https:\/\/api.bluebeam.com\/oauth2\/token<\/span> using your region’s host.<\/li>\n
        6. Set Scope<\/strong> to:\n
          full_user \r\njobs \r\noffline_access<\/pre>\n<\/li>\n
        7. Click Generate Token<\/strong> to complete the one-time browser login with your BBID.<\/li>\n
        8. Click OK<\/strong> to save OAuth authentication settings.<\/li>\n
